Gust warnings

Tailwind shows an amber Gusts pill when peak gusts on your ride reach about 40 km/h. Here is what it means.

An amber Gusts pill appears on a ride when the forecast peak gust reaches about 40 km/h (11 m/s) during your ride. The pill shows the expected speed.

Gusts are short bursts well above the steady wind, and they can push you off line, especially on exposed roads and bridges and on deep-section wheels.
