My GPX file won't upload

What the GPX upload errors mean and how to fix them, including invalid files, missing tracks and files with too many points.

Invalid GPX XML

The file is damaged or is not really a GPX file. Export it again from the original app.

GPX file does not contain a track

The file has no track, or only has waypoints. Choose a route or track export in the original app. Tailwind needs a track.

GPX track must contain at least two points

The file's track is empty or almost empty. Export it again.

The file has too many points

Tailwind accepts up to 20,000 points. Simplify the file in the app that created it, or split a very long ride.

You have reached your limit

Your route slots are full. See Route limits.

If a guest upload stops at 3 routes, sign up free and your routes move across with you.
